When my family and I relocated to Larkspur, Colorado, I had the opportunity to do something I have always wanted to do, have my own business. Real Estate seemed like a perfect choice. I love people and wanted to make a difference, I thought it would be a good “fit” for me. I received my GRI accreditation in my initial year as a Realtor. In 2006 I received my CRS designation, one which I am extremely proud to have.  For me, education is an enormous boost. Education gives me so many more resources. It’s huge for me to say I am a Certified Residential Specialist because there are less than 38,000 Realtors with this designation, which is less than 3% of the nation.

Since purchasing my own Real Estate Company, RE/MAX Elite, in March 2008, I have continued with my education as a Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE), and a Certified Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource (SFR). I am also proud to be a member of the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing and am a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist. Additionally I am an active Member of both the Larkspur Chamber of Commerce and the Castle Pines Chamber of Commerce.

Today, as a local Front Range expert with extensive knowledge of the communities, in Douglas County, Arapahoe County and northern El Paso County, my objective is to work diligently and compassionately to assist you in meeting your real estate goals, whether you are interested in buying a new home or selling your current home.

Mr. DeYoung has been President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of 1mage Software Inc., a Colorado software company since 1981.  1mage develops document management software for multiple industries including Real Estate companies.  1mage document management system allows companies to become more efficient in handling their document management needs by allowing them to go entirely paperless.  Mr. DeYoung is also a partner in River Cities Investments a property management company which holds and operates several properties in Arizona.  He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from California Polytechnic University.
